How to print a PDF as a booklet

  1. Add your PDF. Drop the file on the page or pick it with the file dialog. The tool detects the page count, size and orientation automatically.
  2. Choose the output sheet. A4 by default — two A5 pages per side. A5, A3, Letter, Legal and custom sizes are available, with Fit or Fill scaling.
  3. Generate and download. Pages are reordered into printing pairs (last with first, and so on) and blank pages are added if the count isn't a multiple of four.
  4. Print double-sided flipping on the short edge, fold the stack in half — and your booklet reads in the correct order. Staple along the fold for a proper zine.

Frequently asked questions

How does the booklet page order work?
Pages are paired so the sheets read correctly after folding: the last page with the first (16 | 1), then 2 | 15 on the back, 14 | 3 on the next sheet, and so on. Print double-sided, fold the stack in half, and the booklet reads in the right order.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The whole conversion runs locally in your browser. Your file never leaves your device, which also makes the tool safe for confidential documents.
Is this booklet maker really free?
Yes — completely free, with no watermarks and no account required. If it helps you, you can support development with a small donation.
Does the output lose quality?
No. Pages are never converted to images: text, fonts, vector graphics and embedded pictures are copied into the new PDF as-is, so the booklet prints at the same quality as the original.
What if my page count is not a multiple of four?
A folded booklet always needs a multiple of four pages, so the tool adds blank pages at the end automatically — a 13-page document becomes a 16-page booklet.
Which paper sizes are supported?
Source pages are auto-detected (A6–A3, Letter, Legal or custom). Output sheets: A5, A4 (default), A3, Letter, Legal or a custom size in millimeters. Two source pages are placed on each side of a sheet — for example, two A5 pages per A4 sheet.
