How do I convert a PDF to editable Word?

Does it handle scanned PDFs?
Yes. Scanned or image-only PDFs are detected automatically and OCR is applied. You can auto-detect the language, pick one or several by hand, and choose Fast, Balanced or Maximum accuracy.
Which output formats are supported?
DOCX (default), ODT, RTF and TXT. If the document contains tables, you can also export them to an Excel (XLSX) spreadsheet. After converting you can additionally download a searchable PDF and the recognized plain text.
Will the formatting be preserved?
For text-based PDFs the tool keeps layout, paragraphs, tables and images as closely as possible. For scans, OCR reconstructs the text in reading order; exact visual layout depends on the scan quality.
