How it works
1

Create a list

Tap + and name your list — or let Cartly default to today's date. One list per trip, or keep a running one for the week.

2

Add items by barcode or name

Scan the barcode on the package — name, photo, pack size fill automatically. Or type the name and pick from your catalog.

3

Shop and check off

Walk the store and tap items as you put them in the cart. Cartly sorts the list by layout so you move in one direction.

4

Prices remembered automatically

Every price you enter is saved to the item's history. Next time you'll see what you paid last time and where.

The shopping list app that actually saves time

Most shopping list apps are just a notes app with checkboxes. Cartly is different — it builds a personal product catalog as you shop, so adding the same item next week takes one tap instead of typing the full name again.

Barcode scanning that works

Point the camera at any product and Cartly looks it up in the Open Food Facts database — one of the largest open product databases in the world. Name, brand, pack size, and category come back automatically. No typing, no mistakes, no staring at the label trying to spell something correctly.

Price history across stores

Every time you record a price — by typing it or scanning a shelf label — Cartly saves it against the store and date. Over time you build a personal price history: you'll know that milk is cheaper at Store A on weekdays, or that your favorite yoghurt went up 15% since last month.

Designed for real grocery trips

The smart sort feature lets you define the order of your store sections once, then every list is automatically sorted in that order. Walk the store from entrance to checkout in one pass — no backtracking for the thing you missed in aisle 3.

Your data, your device

Cartly stores everything locally on your iPhone. No account required, no cloud uploads by default. If you want to sync across devices, the optional sync feature sends your data over HTTPS to a private server — you can disable it anytime.
